Do you wish you could deepen your yoga practice, but find it hard to find the time to focus on it amid the every day to do list?
We all know yoga and some time in nature can help us feel better, be more productive, and more peaceful, but sometimes it is just hard to fit it in.
Yoga has its roots in Ayurveda, the practice and science of living in tune with nature. What could be better for your mind, body and spirit, than giving yourself the gift of time in nature, deepening your yoga practice?
Hi! We are a team of three yoga teachers that have experienced the benefits of yoga and want to share them with you while we enjoy the Costa Rica experience together.
We are everyday people that know about stress, life challenges, and physical discomforts in the body, and have experienced how yoga can help
We are all Kripalu yoga teachers, with many years of practice and in depth studies with an array of teachers from which to draw for our teachings.
Jaime and Garrett will be leading you through yoga practices based on the wisdom of nature. Learn to feel grounded through the connection to earth, fluid like water, and transform through embodying the nature of fire.
Kathy will be offering special private therapeutic sessions, be one of the first to sign up and you can receive a bonus session with Kathy for free!
Jaime has a love for yoga and nature, and believes that through the wisdom of Ayurveda, which combines the two, we can all find more joy and peace in life by honoring and loving the uniqueness of ourselves.
Garrett says that for him yoga is about freedom, and he clearly brings this sense of freedom to his students. In Garrett and Jaime’s classes you will always feel free to practice in a way that feels just right for you in your body and in the moment.
Kathy brings to her teaching an enthusiastic belief that the mat is your refuge – the place to be you without judgement, the place of compassion and acceptance to trust yourself first, listen to your body and move into stillness.
Do you like to travel and explore, but don’t like the crowds, stress and unhealthy foods that are often a part of it?
This retreat, led by a team of experienced and enthusiastic yoga teachers, offers you a stress-free chance to…
  • start and end your day with a yoga practice with no distractions except the sounds of the jungle,
  • learn about the connection of yoga with the natural elements of earth, water and fire, and find grounding, fluidity and transformation,
  • enjoy the natural calming beauty of both the jungle and the Pacific-coast beaches of Costa Rica,
  • enjoy amazingly tasty and healthy meals (made with mostly organic and local ingredients) without having to do any of the work to prepare them,
  • relax in the peacefulness of an intimate eco-resort connecting with new friends.

Plus sign up early to receive a bonus session with Jaime! Get started before the retreat with exploring how you can apply the practice of Ayurveda in your yoga practice! This bonus will be given to everyone registering by August 15.

The sessions can be done either virtually or in person, will last 90 minutes, and will give you tools you can start using in your life right away!

Added bonus – the first eight people to sign up will also receive an Integrative Positional Therapy session with Kathy during the retreat!

Kathy will spend an hour with you identifying holding patterns and postural imbalances, in a compassionate and non-judgmental way, that may be leading to discomfort in your body.

You will walk away with tools to help you feel better in your body through simple stretches and yoga postures at home. Who couldn’t benefit from being able to self-heal, this is a great opportunity!

We all love to travel, but the stress of travel can sometimes leave us feeling not so great at the end of a vacation, and needing to rest when coming home.
We also love food – good, healthy, nourishing food! Finding good food, when traveling can be a challenge and expensive.
Vida Asana, the small eco-resort that will be our host, takes all the stress out of travel and provides really good food, all in a beautiful environment.
The healthy food and amazing water, not to mention the to die for coffee and fresh fruit as soon as you roll out of bed, will leave you feeling ready to truly enjoy the experience.
The ease of the whole experience will allow you to relax into your yoga practice without any concerns of making dinner, getting to work on time, sending that email….
If you are like us when at home, despite our commitment to the yoga practice and healthy eating there is all too often distractions or demands that pull us away.
I can’t wait to go back at Vida Asana, where the owners and staff give everyone an amazing experience that comes right from the heart! ~ Jaime
Whenever we have had the opportunity to immerse in a multi-day yoga experience we have all experienced coming away more joyful, inspired, grounded, and able to go with the flow of life. This is what we hope to offer to every one that joins in this experience.

Through this retreat you can:

  • Experience the feeling of being grounded, connected to the earth, and stable in who you are, so that you can show up back in your everyday life feeling steady and confident.

  • Embody the nature of water and find a sense of fluidity in your yoga practice, so that you may more easily go with the flow of life.

  • Find fresh inspiration through challenging yourself on the mat and through new experiences, so you can make any transformations you desire that may allow you to live more fully.
